This Fall, We are Supporting
the Opportunity Council
Through the months of August and September, our nonprofit A1andALL is donating to the esteemed Opportunity Council and their ‘Back to Basics’ initiative - which provides grade school students and their families in need important school supplies, household goods, and hygiene items. This helps assure that all students and their families start the school off right, with everything they need to succeed.
One of the main Opportunity Council initiatives was their ‘Stuff the Bus’ campaign, held in Bellingham and Oak Harbor in early August. This raised over 4,200 items worth $20k+, and it ‘s not too late to donate even more. There are two ways to do this:

Through A1andAll, our certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The more you donate, the more we’ll donate. Note: 100% of any donation, plus our donation, will go directly to the Opportunity Council in September. Donate here.
Like the Opportunity Council, we believe our community is defined by the health and well-being of our next generations. Our future prosperity depends on the investments we make today, and begins by ensuring every family has what they need to provide their children with a safe and healthy environment to grow up successfully.

A1andALL’s Mission
A1andALL, the nonprofit started by A1DesignBuild, believes in the power of compassion and contribution. With a heart set on communal growth, our worker-owned cooperative has pledged to allocate 10% of our annual Net Income before taxes to ignite positive change within Bellingham and Whatcom County. Our mission is twofold: to support valuable projects that enrich our community and to provide a transparent, trustworthy conduit for our clients, community members, and employees to contribute to these causes.
Our Commitment
Since becoming a co-op in 2017, A1DesignBuild has donated over $250,000+ in cash, materials/goods, and labor back into Whatcom County.
In the spirit of transparency and accountability, we're not just discussing dollars and cents; we're talking about real impact. From feeding the hungry and supporting education to ensuring environmental sustainability, our efforts are as diverse as the community we serve.
For every project or nonprofit we fund, you can expect a thorough Impact Report released publicly that traces every dollar donated and the return on investment (ROI) this provides to our community.
